Ephesians 5:21 charges us, as husband and wife, to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. When this mutual act of submission includes sex, it opens the door for two people to enter into a vulnerable space of worship.
Most Christians who are resistant to free sexual expression, use Romans 1:25 as an obstruction to prohibit sexual worship. “So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself.” (NLT)
However, Paul reminds us, “The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife.” (1 Corinthians 7:3,4)
Sexual worship is the highest form of sexual expression there is. It’s the ultimate erotic ritual that begins before foreplay and ends long after both love-makers are entirely finished with orgasm.
Once your partner trustingly submits their body to you, it’s yours to saturate with affection, admiration, praise, and worship—every part, and every inch. An experienced “worshipper” will discern the range of touch, pressure, pleasure, and pain the recipient desires—and should all be at the soundless request of the receiver.
This erotic exchange of verbal, emotional, and physical interaction, creates a spiritual atmosphere of worship. It’s a holy place; one that provokes imagination and gives the worshipper full access to the mind and soul of the receiver. This is where two people lose track of time and enter into another realm—one that’s wholly divine.
Getting lost in the spirit of sexuality is the stimulus to create uncommon acts as you both near an orgasmic state by edging. It’s not uncommon to speak in another language, vocally express foreign tones, see visions, encounter angelic visitations, and experience other spirits channeling their sexual expression through you.
Sexual worship can last anywhere from 2-8 hours; depending on the oneness level of the couple(s) participating.
